Pantry Moth

If you see little moths flying around your kitchen on a regular basis, you will likely have a stored product moth infestation. The first thing you need to do is to inspect all dry goods products in your pantry (cereals, seeds, rice, nuts, flour, etc) and dispose of any items that contain webbing, larvae or any signs of infestation activity.

You can purchase pheromone glue traps which will attract the male adult moths and break down the life cycle, but you need to find and eliminate the source and this can take a great deal of time.

If a spray is required for a pantry moth infestation, you will need to take all of your food items out of the pantry so that the pantry can be treated safely and thoroughly without contamination of food stuffs. Do not transfer food stuffs into another room as this could transfer the problem.
